On my lunchtime visit, on Market day, I was the only customer, nothing special in way of beer [at £3 per pint], clean, pleasant & tidy enough, posters say live music so perhaps it is lively at night? Could be 2 1/2 stars but no halves available |

excellent country pub with a garden to die for. kitchen draws on local suppliers only and so short but interesting menu. head chef is rumoured to be the old head chef from hotel du vin in both winchester & harrogate. more like a family invitin... [more>] |
