A fairly recent opener, about three years ago I think, and it’s Trefor’s first pub for many years. Not easy to find as it’s at the end of town by the bus depot and looks more like a hostel than a pub on approach. Enter through a porch; there’s a fairly basic main bar off left with sports room to the lower right including what looked like a full-size snooker table. Inevitably it’s keg-only with one unused pump sitting forlornly. Oddly the keg majors on Galway beers and my lager was pretty good in fairness, served-up by a friendly Gog barman whose English was clearly a second language. Serves the locals, though the odd rambler might appear as Trefor is a handy end point for a day of Wales Coast Path walking due to the regular bus connection to Pwllheli and Caernarfon.
