Old Boots left this review about The Social
Bare brick box interior with op-art decor, old board flooring. Pretty much a basic cafe style bar. Two handpulls, only a lacklustre Kirkstall Pale on otherwise the usual suspects on keg with a couple of exceptions. Friendly barman in a tea cosy hat was the only saving grace in a sea of blandness. It’s got fairy lights on industrial cable tray and Edison bulbs if that floats your boat.

A square box of a place and whilst its not great it does seem to be a lot cheaper than the last few pubs I'd been in. This is a modern bar that's sparsely decored. Only 2 handpumps on the bar with both being from Track. 8 other fonts for keggy crafty stuff. Its an ok place and Joy Division songs made it a decent 20 mins ( though Day Of The Lords isn't a song to get the punters in).

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Social
A modern style bar, which looks like it has set up home in retail unit. The interior is quite spacious and deco is minimalistic. The bar is over on the right, with the bar front displaying a contemporary design of various timber blocks. There was also an upright piano along the far wall. The barmaid was friendly and chatty. Two ales on handpump, plus a large selection of keg beers. We went for the Navigation Brewery Britannia. Also there was a very nice patio out the back with tables and chairs, which was a good sun trap, late afternoon, early evening.
