Probably the best of Henley-in-Arden's pubs, this one is the only one currently in the Good Beer Guide.

The pub is split into two separate sections of roughly equal size, with the bar joining the two sections at the rear. On our midweek visit, there were a handful of locals stood at the bar chatting, with all tables and seats available.

There are 5 real ales in total. Regular beers are Goat's Milk, Doom Bar, Butty Bach & London Pride. The guest beer was Solar Wave.

As stated below more of a pub than the more "foody" pubs along the high street. 5 ales on - Sharps Atlantic, Doom Bar, Butty Bach, London Pride and Church End Goats Milk. We went for the Goats Milk which was excellent. Well worth a visit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Three Tuns

Definitely the 'proper pub' in the large village / small town of Henley, with a partially opened-out layout of two rooms at the front and a shared bar at the back. Refurbished, but the relatively plain new furniture compliments the exposed timberwork, etc. Also has a few benches out front, which were full on a fine early-autumn evening. Five real ales on handpump: Doom Bar and Atlantic from Sharp's, London Pride, Goats Milk from Church End and a decent Wye Valley Butty Bach (£3.60).

Not noticed this pub in the mile long high street of Henley in Arden.

Its in the 2019 Good Beer Guide and as we were finishing a walk in the Heart of England Way, we thought we would check it out.

Decor: Classic pubby feel of dartboard, exposed beams and leather bench seating against walls and little round tables.

Beer: Freehouse - Butty Back turned around, noticed a couple of other but went for an excellent example of London Pride.

Food: Home made cobs.

Decent pub - better than my experiences in other Henley pubs but I will be trying the White Swan again on my next walk on the HOEW.

Another small terraced pub, with a white rendered front and black beams at the gable ends. Also has a beer patio at the front.

The interior was open plan, though separated down the middle into a bar type area with darts and Sky TV and a lounge type area. There were a couple of nice brick fireplaces. The seating was stools and leather clad benches along the walls. The place had a nice beam and off-white kind look, with a mix of carpet and stone flagged floor. Muisc subdued.

Service was fine, with a mixed clientel, most outside as it was a nice evening.

Beer; usual tap stuff, with Fuller's London Pride, Warwickshire Beer Co's Shakespeare County and Weatheroak Icknield Pale Ale on handpull. The last two were decent enough.

A nice little pub that i would more than happily return to.
