A handsome 1930s pub which, at the time of my visit had a notice on the door to the left saying "darts players only" as a match was taking place, while on the right there were loads of pink balloons and lots of women: a baby shower, apparently. There... [more>] |

A biggish, two bar pub with the lounge sub-divided into standing, sitting, carvery/dining areas and there's a separate public bar with a raised area at one end. The beer is four changing guests and these were all in good nick, Cumberland Ale, Doombar... [more>] |
